Nike x Grateful Dead SB Dunk Low 'Yellow Bear

The band Grateful Dead are generally known for their psychedelic music and tie-dye merchandise. Well, any Grateful Dead fans should no be disappointed with the groups take on the Nike SB Dunk dropping on the 24th July. The colourway of the sneakers takes inspiration from their dancing bear cartoons featured across multiple albums. This specific silhouette features a colourway that matches the yellow bear, who is also present on the shoe tongue. The upper features opti yellow fuzzy faux fur as well as smooth suede to give the sneaker the illusion of a bears fur. The contrasting, abstract teal swoosh reflects the colour of the collar worn by the bands marching bear, with the swoosh frayed to mimic further the cartoons look. This Nike SB collaboration is a truly mind-bending tribute to an identity built by Grateful Dead.
